The sun’s shining through the Impala’s windows and seeping hot and thick through his jeans and into his thighs. It feels pretty nice but when he turns to check on his brother there’s a slick trail of sweat sliding slow down Sammy’s temple. Now that’s about as tempting as it goddamn gets, but keep your eyes on the road, Dean, gotta keep your eyes on the road, so he rolls down the window on the passenger’s side.

On the 14th September 2005 - only hours after the airing of the Pilot - the first Sam/Dean fic was posted as the first fic at supernatural_fic and sn_slash. The story is ‘Reunion’ by janedavitt

The first recorded use of the term Wincest was on 16th October 2005 as a Fic Warning in Can’t just walk away by joyfulgirl41.

The first fics posted featuring Dean/Castiel were on 20th September 2008, within 24 hours of Cas’ first appearance in Lazarus Rising .

Initially both Destiel and Dastiel were used for the pairing, until eventually Destiel became used almost exclusively.
